Barak and the "Mighty God" tour lit up the Choli of Puerto Rico

The José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum of Puerto Rico vibrated with intensity last Saturday night, corresponding to what each soul present could experience while enjoying the musical performance of Barak , the Dominican religious group with the greatest international recognition today.
Eleven years after their first performance in Puerto Rico —which happened in 2014—the renowned trio made up of Robert Green, Angelo Frilop, and Janiel Ponciano feels indebted to the enthusiastic Puerto Rican public, because it was precisely there that they were first welcomed with great enthusiasm in a foreign land.
Barak returned to the stage just over a week after performing to similar results at the Prudential Center in New Jersey , as part of his " Mighty God Tour ."
- Green, the lead singer , took to the microphone with the enthusiasm of an artist willing to give his all to the audience. He opened with "Mighty God " and continued with "I Will Prophesy" and "The Earth Sings."
Talkative, empathetic and vibrant – it's almost his trademark – the singer reiterated to the public what he had commented hours earlier in an interview with Florencia García Melazzo of the newspaper El Nuevo Día: " Puerto Rico is a very special place for us, because they have welcomed us with open arms for more than 10 years now."
Presentations
No wonder. The group has a considerable tally of concerts on the challenging stage, five sold-out performances .
- With Angelo Frilop, leader and musical producer , and bassist Janiel Ponciano backing his repertoire , Green continued to go strong with songs that people sang along to in every verse: Libre soy, Baruch Hashem, Acepta, Te quiero adorar, and Si amen.
If at the Prudential Center in New Jersey they drew applause when they introduced Juan Carlos Rodríguez (Tercer Cielo) as a special guest, his performance at the Choliseo was up to par when Marcos Yaroide entered the stage to begin a very special segment.

Before that, Green sang Goodness of God , and then introduced Yaroide to make way for Todo se lo debo a él. They continued with Todo va a estar bien , and with the notes of Cúbreme , the lights "discovered" Lilly Goodman, a renowned Christian music performer who closed her performance with Al final, accompanied by Rober and the band.
- For the last part of the concert, the group reserved songs that kept the audience in suspense: I am your son, Speak to me, Shekinah, Flood us, With power, Come Holy Spirit, My joy and Let's dance.
The good vibes transmitted by its lead singer – with Frilop and Ponciano, and a band that also includes Josué Capel (guitar) and David Nolasco, on drums – when the night marked the end of their performance, the Choliseo went dark, without first reiterating that every time they return, Puerto Rico will welcome them as if they were at home.
